Our story
Backing techno-preneurs since 2006.
Helping technology-driven entrepreneurs survive and grow through the start-up period — with guidance, infrastructure and strategic linkages.

We exist to stimulate, grow and launch early-stage technology innovation-based businesses — and to help them survive the start-up period.
Established 2006
Where it started
Softstart BTI was established in 2006 with the prime objective of providing guidance to techno-preneurs, and of nurturing the concepts and development of technology-driven SMMEs to help them survive and grow through the start-up period.
We provide world-class incubation interventions and knowledge services. We have a footprint of entrepreneurs operating throughout South Africa, and links into Africa and beyond through our hub partners.
