Qualification
- Matric
- B Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent
- 2 years relevant experience

Duties
- Support in IT, Desktop User End support, Remote Support
- Installation and Support in client desktop and network environments
- Installation of desktop and network hardware, mapping of client end point devices
- Installations according to set standards and in accordance with policies
- Build and deploy Desktops and Laptops
- Deployment and IT Procurement of new Equipment
- Support for software – e.g. Windows, Office, Pastel, etc.
- Investigate problems and escalate unresolved issues of hardware problems to 3rd party suppliers
- Monitoring and basic administration on email server
- Oversee the LAN and WAN
- Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving IT Network problems
- Installation and troubleshooting of Routers and Switches
- Configure, monitor and ensure smooth functioning of all IT equipment and systems, not limited to: printers, biometric system, surveillance camera, servers, etc.
- Liaise wit all 3rd party IT suppliers and monitor contractual obligations
- Update asset register and network diagrams
- Complete job cards in time and accurately
- Participate in various SBTI’s internal structures, processes and initiatives linked to other functional units.
- Management of all IT Assets
- Compile IT reports
